Bridging bronchus: a rare airway anomaly.

Abstract
A female infant whose right lower lobe bronchus arose from the left main bronchus and bridged the lower mediastinum is described. Other major congenital anomalities were also present. Possible explanations for crossed ariways, which apparently contradict the current theory of embryonic lung development, are suggested.
