Abstract
We present a measurement of the direct violating asymmetry in the decay using a data sample of decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider at SLAC. We observe a total signal yield of decays and measure the asymmetry . The probability of observing such an asymmetry in the absence of direct violation is , corresponding to standard deviations.
