Abstract
Review of records between 1960 and 1981 revealed 15 cases of testicular rupture secondary to blunt scrotal trauma. Because of delay in presentation, testicular salvage was accomplished in only 20% of the cases. In 5 cases in which the patient was evaluated with radionuclide testicular imaging using 99mTc pertechnetate, the diagnosis of testicular rupture was made preoperatively. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
