A Comparative Investigation of the Course of an Experimental Infection with Infectious Laryngotracheitis in Chickens

Abstract
Investigation of the course of an experimental infection with infectious laryngotracheitis in chickens with fluorescent antibody technique and histological examination of hematoxylin-eosin stained, paraffin-embedded sections revealed a great variation in the stage of reaction in the different birds, but nevertheless, a pattern could be observed in the progressive distribution of the fluorescence in the tracheal cells and the accompanying tissue changes.
