Abstract
A series of 18 successive cases of Wilms'' tumor, treated by a regime of actinomycin D, nephrectomy, and irradiation, is recorded. The recovery rate over a minimal 2-year period was 62% as compared with 11.5% recorded in a previous series in which actinomycin D was not used. The toxic effects of actinomycin D are discussed. Treatment of pulmonary metastases is discussed in detail, and that of other metastases is mentioned. Keywords
