Abstract
In aerated cultures containing CaCO3, P. fragi, P. graveolens, P. synxantha, and P. vendrelli oxidize d-arabinose to d-arabonic acid; P. fluorescens, P. fragi, P. mildenbergii, P. putida, P. synxantha, and P. vendrelli oxidize /-arabinose to /-arabonic acid; P. fluorescens, P. fragi, P. graveolens, P. mildenbergii, P. ovalis, and P. putida oxidize (/-xylose to d-xylonic acid, and P. fluorescens, P. fragi, P. graveolens, P. mildenbergii, P. ovalis, P. putrifaciens, P. synxantha, and P. vendrelli oxidize d-ribose to d-ribonic acid.Keywords
