Abstract
A lattice model of deposition-induced biased self-avoiding random walk for polymer conformation study is proposed and simulated. Simulation results confirm that the oriented polymer chain direction in Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films prepared by vertical dipping is caused by deposition process. Thus, the mechanism of liquid crystal alignment on polymer LB films can be deduced. Keywords
