Abstract
Possible explanations are suggested for the irregularity occasionally observed in the development of rickets in rats. To prevent the settling out of CaCO3, thus altering the Ca to P ratio in the diet, McCollum''s diet 3143 is gelatinized by means of the gelatin which it contains. Other rickets-producing diets may be treated similarly. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
