Abstract
A retrospective review of hypospadias repair reveals a high incidence of postoperative fistula nad stenosis. Further studies using Silicone casts have revealed a potential cause for the occurrence of these complications. The close co-operation between urologists and plastic surgeons has resulted in a grea er awareness of the surgical problems and the development of a simplified 2-stage technique which it is hoped will reduce these. Keywords
