Abstract
Bechgaard salts like (TMTSF)2X with X=PF6, NO3, and ClO4 exhibit Shubnikov–de Haas–like oscillations, which are not described within the standard model. In addition (TMTSF)2 NO3 exhibits slow oscillations with characteristic periods rather similar to those corresponding, to the field-induced spin-density waves found in (TMTSF)2 ClO4 and (TMTSF)2 PF6 under pressure. I propose a simple theory which describes these phenomena.
