Abstract
In a group of 38 cases treated by artificial insemination of husband or donor semen 5 cases developed a delayed ovulation during therapy. This persisted in 8 out of 9 cycles of treatment. In 1 cycle an anovulatory menstruation developed. The delay in ovulation usually lasted between 7 to 10 days. In all cases regular cycles and ovulation returned after discontinuation of treatment. The emotional nature of this type of disturbance is stressed. Keywords
