Abstract
In the extracapillary proliferations (crescents) of the glomeruli in glomerulonephritis [in humans], basement membranes appeared and in addition secretory bodies were formed in the cisternae of the rough endoplasmatic reticulum. Proliferated visceral epithelial cells were involved in the crescent formation to a greater extent than previously assumed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
