Abstract
Despite its simplicity, gastrostomy has been associated with a relatively high incidence of complications. We have described two unusual complications: inadvertent duodenostomy, resulting in gastric outlet obstruction, and the migration of a gastrostomy feeding tube into the midportion of the jejunum, resulting in obstruction of the small bowel.Keywords
