Abstract
The purpose of this note is to draw attention to the fact that the time needed for small filament lamps to reach full brightness is dependent upon the time for which they have been previously switched off. This dependence is a possible source of error in biassed choice reaction sequences, and a circuit is given which avoids the difficulty. Keywords
