Abstract
Statistical techniques for sensitivity analysis of a complex model are presented. Included in these techniques are Latin hypercube sampling, partial rank correlation, rank regression, and predicted error sum of squares. The synthesis of these techniques was motivated by the need to analyze a model for the surface movement of radionuclides. The model and statistical techniques presented in this report are part of a project funded by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to develop a methodology to assess the risk associated with geologic disposal of radioactive waste. Keywords
