TEACHING INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract
Nurses who communicate effectively enhance clients' well-being. To acquire communication skills, nursing students need not only information and theory but also practice. The author has ferreted out ways to provide this practice and expertly evaluates them. Instructors can judge which methods—role play, videotaping, or others—will fit their requirements and their students' needs.
