Abstract
The following paper is a record of a series of experiments which were planned for the purpose of discovering conditions of oestrogenic stimulation under which uterine bleeding could be made to occur in ovariectomized rhesus monkeys at approximately 4-weekly intervals. The theoretical basis of these experiments was an hypothesis of the menstrual cycle that had been derived deductively from observational data (Zuckerman 1930).This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
