Abstract
A numerical solution is presented that may be used to assess the effects of simultaneous excitation of a flat cable by a pulse of ionizing radiation, and by an internal electromagnetic pulse (IEMP) varying with both time and position along the line. The cable is allowed to be closely coupled to a reference conductor and transient changes in dielectric conductivity along the line are allowed.Keywords
