Abstract
Presentation of CaseA thirty-seven-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of diarrhea.Nineteen years previously he underwent partial gastrectomy because of a bleeding duodenal ulcer. Thereafter, he returned to the clinic at irregular intervals. Nine years before admission hypochromic anemia was found, and during the next five years he entered the hospital annually because of severe anemia that required blood transfusions. Periodic x-ray studies of the upper gastrointestinal tract showed no sign of a marginal ulcer. Repeated barium-enema examinations, the last of which was performed six years before entry, were negative except for slight prominence of a few . . .Keywords
