Abstract
The goal of conservation surgery of the larynx is to maintain the protective, respiratory, and phonatory function of that organ while completely removing the malignant disease. Thirty-two patients with endolaryngeal invasive squamous cell carcinoma treated by this method between 1958 and 1967 are evaluated. Our cure rate of 91% by conservation surgery attests to the efficiency of this therapy. Keywords
