Abstract
Correlations were computed between the SAMPLE Profile (a test measuring the extent to which a person identifies with one of six distinct concepts of love), and Rubin's scales for Loving and Liking. Rubin's Love Scale was most related to the giving ( r = .52), possessive ( r = .46), and friendship ( r = .26) styles of loving. The significant moderate correlations were higher for women than for men, suggesting that women might have a more clearly differentiated concept of love. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
