Abstract
Dissections were made throughout the year of the migrant bug Lygaeus equestris (L.). The state of ovary development and fat body size was classified and presence of food in the stomach was noted. Seasonal mating frequence was observed in the field. The findings are discussed with respect to the migratory periods of the bug. Keywords
