Abstract
A case of tuberculosis of the maxillary sinus in a 49 year old woman, who at the same time suffered from diabetes, is described. The treatment consisted of a radical operation of the maxillary sinus and administration of streptomycin-dihydrostreptomycin, PAS and INH, which resulted in complete recovery. The importance of histological examination of inflammatory tissue and of bacteriological examination even in apparently unspecific common affections of the maxillary sinuses is emphasized. Keywords
