Abstract
A mixed land, fresh water, and brackish water, vertebrate and invertebrate fauna occurs in the Fleming formation of s.-e. Texas. The age of this fauna is upper Miocene. The invertebrate portion of the fauna is described and discussed in this paper. New are the snails, Pleurocera acutum burkvillense and Goniobasis miocaenia. Borings of an unnamed sp. of polychaet worm, of the gen. Polydora, in oyster shells are also described. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
