Abstract
Presentation of Case First admission. A 36-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of impaired circulation in the left foot.He was well until 39 months earlier, when he experienced the acute onset of pain in the left calf while he was sitting on a couch; the pain was accompanied by blanching and a sensation of coolness in the left foot, and there was only minimal discomfort at and above the left knee.
