Abstract
Samples from three varieties of hazelnuts, namelyCorylus avellana var. pontica, C. maxima mill. andCorylus colurna var. glandulifera, which are cultivated in Turkey, were analyzed by spark-source mass spectrometry (SSMS). A total of 35 elements were determined in the samples. It was generally shown that 3–5 elements were in nontrace, 9-13 were in trace and 17–20 were in ultratrace amounts in kernels and shells. Keywords
