Abstract
A theoretical upper limit of efficiency is obtained for a photovoltaic solar cell which uses a semiconductor with a single energy gap. This limit is not based on a particular material or type of device and may be used with any solar or absorption spectrum. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
