Abstract
Iterative learning procedures on hybrid electro-optic systems were employed to generate complex reference discriminant functions. The procedure was implemented using a joint transform correlator equipped with a single inexpensive spatial light modulator. Experimental results demonstrate efficient two-class discrimination. Keywords
