Abstract
Serial histological sections were used to trace the blood vessels of the middle ear. A branch of the anterior tympanic artery was the principal supply for the malleus and the incus. The stapes receives blood from the superficial petrosal, the superior and the inferior tympanic arteries. Well illustrated. Keywords
