Abstract
We discuss the temperature effects on the masses and couplings constants in the linear σ-model including the effective pion decay constant fπ(T). We analyze in detail the region where our discussion is valid. The temperature effects on masses include an explicit discussion concerning the role of the thermal tadpoles as a mass contribution due to the vacuum.Keywords
