Abstract
There are approximately 37 million displaced persons worldwide, consisting of refugees and internally displaced persons.1 An estimated 20%, or 7 million, of these displaced persons are women of reproductive age (15-49 years).2 Women and children may be particularly vulnerable in complex emergencies in which families are separated and social support systems are destroyed. Keywords
