Abstract
The kinetics of sheep erythrocyte [E] rosette formation by human peripheral blood lymphocytes from young adult and aged [human] individuals were studied in 20 paired experiments. No difference in the rate and saturation plateau of formation was found despite a slight increase in early rosette-forming cells [RFC]. The membrane affinity for E apparently is unaffected by aging; the proportion of the circulating early E-RFC subpopulation apparently is increased in healthy older subjects. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
