Abstract
In the search for a general and simple method for quantitative determination of the stability of the glycosidic bond of modified nlucleosides, thin-layer densitometry was applied for the first time. The conditions that provided good reproducibility and agreement with the results of the polarimetric method were found. Rate constants of the acid-catalyzed hydrolysis of a series of purine nucleosides, located next to the 3′ end of the anticodon triplet of transfer RNA, were determined. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
