Abstract
A design is presented for a thermogravity balance usable to a pressure of 1000 p.s.i. The mass sensitive element is a tool steel cantilever rod, the displacement of which is measured by a linear variable differential transformer. Thermograms for the pyrolysis of calcium oxalate, chromium (VI) oxide, and Mohr's salt are included to show typical performances. Keywords
