Abstract
Expts. are in progress to discover bioelectric potential differences connected with the physiology v of normal reproduction in the mature fowl. A D.C. millivoltmeter was applied to laying hens using AgCl electrodes in saline solns. as a medium of contact to determine their potential difference between the 2 sides of the abdomen. The peak in potential probably coincided with ovulation; it occurred 40 min. in one case, 25 min. in another case and 30 min. in the 3d case after oviposition. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
