DR. Creditor's article, "If the Doctors Owned the Hospitals," accurately describes many of the inconsistencies in the governance of the hospital that are related to the place of the physician. Although the title to Dr. Creditor's article is tongue-in-cheek and not representative of the content, it does describe the sense of what many responsible leaders in the health field are advocating.
