Three-Quasiparticle 15/ $2^{-}$ Isomer in ${}^{127}{Sb}$

The

β

decay of 2.2-h,

{\frac{11}{2}}^{-}

{}^{127 g}{Sn}

has been found to populate an 11-μsec isomer of

{}^{127}{Sb}

at 1920 keV. The spin and parity of the isomer are

{\frac{15}{2}}^{-}

and it is believed to arise from the coupling of the

g_{\frac{7}{2}}

proton to the two-neutron

5^{-}

state observed in

{}^{126}{Sn}

at 2054 keV.
