Abstract
This is the first of three papers dealing with analyses of response-time data, examples of which occur in bio-assay and mortality studies. Characteristic expts. are discussed and the literature is reviewed briefly. The normal case is illustrated with mortality data on irradiated mice taken from expts. of E. Lorenz. Problems of grouping are considered in detail. Brief reference to non-parametric methods is made in connection with quantile estimation. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
