Abstract
Clostridium difficile–associated disease (CDAD) is the most common cause of infectious hospital-associated diarrhea.1 Increasing age, increasing length of hospital stay, high severity of illness, and prior antibiotic use are well established as important risk factors for the development of CDAD.1-9This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
