Abstract
Highly oriented superconducting Nd-Ce-Cu-O thin films have been grown on (100) SrTiO3 substrates with the c-axis nominal to the substrate by a sputtering method and postannealing. After annealing in a vacuum, the films showed superconductivity with the onset temperature of 20 K and a transition width of 2 K. It was confirmed by Hall effect measurements that the charge carriers in the normal state are electrons. Keywords
