Abstract
Focusing on the price-setting activities of vendors, this article provides valuable insight into the social dynamics of the marketplace. In contrast to rational-economic assumptions, this inquiry examines pricing as a problematic, processual, and negotiable activity. Consideration is given to the fundamental role buyers play in shaping vendors' prices. Keywords
