Abstract
Echocardiographic descriptions of pulmonary embolic disease have been mainly confined to changes seen in the right pulmonary artery diameter and right ventricular diastoic dimensions. Direct visualization of emboli on echocardiography has rarely been described, although an embolus trapped near the tricuspid valve, simulating endocarditis, has been reported. In this case report [of an 86-yr-old man], 2-dimensional and M-mode features of emboli migrating through the right heart chambers are described. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
