Abstract
Rising 3-0 seedlings of red pine, white spruce and larch were subjected to two drought periods in a growth chamber. The four treatments were control, 1, 6, and 15 atmospheres of soil moisture tension. The 15 atmospheres treatment affected the length of terminal leader and the stem diameter of red pine and larch, but not of white spruce. The needle length of red pine was affected by all three drought treatments. Keywords
