In vitro Lymphocyte Responsiveness of Human Subjects Receiving Azathioprine

Abstract
In subjects without immune abnormalities, administration of azathioprine in immunosuppressive doses over a period of months was found to be associated with no consistent effect on phytohemagglutinin-induced in vitro lymphocyte proliferation. This suggests no drug-related alteration in proliferative responses of one group of immunologically competent cells.
