Abstract
Satellites and in-transit metastases do not always forebode the systemic dissemination of malignant melanoma. Five patients with varying numbers of these lesions were successfully treated with the fixed-tissue technique of micrographic surgery. This method permits the excision of these embolic foci with a minimal risk of further dissemination. It is important that the lesions be detected and removed as early as possible. Keywords
