Abstract
Heteromorphic life histories are now known for a number of species ofBryopsis, B. halymeniaeBerth. (Hustede, 1964),B. monoicaFunk (Rietema, 1971a),B. plumosa(Huds.) C.Ag. (Rietema, 1969, 1970) andB. hypnoidesLamour. (Rietema, 1971; Bartlett & South, 1973). Further it has been shown by Rietema (1970, 19716) that for bothB. plumosaandB. hypnoidesthe life history changes with latitude. Keywords
