Abstract
Bathyplectes curculionis (Thomson), a parasite of the alfalfa weevil (Hypera postica (Gyllenhal), was introduced into the eastern United States in 1959 and 1960. Recoveries in 1960 from 1959 releases indicate its establishment in several release sites in New Jersey, and at one locality each in Delaware and Virginia. Methods of collecting, rearing, release, and recovery of the parasite are discussed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
