Abstract
Indications for preventive intervention with children of hospitalized psychiatric patients are discussed and the clinical findings of a pilot study are presented. Reactive disorders are examined and two profiles of vulnerability proposed. Findings underscore the need to integrate preventive intervention with these children into routine hospital practice. Keywords
