Abstract
Virological studies of the particles associated with hepatitis B virus (HBV), development of a vaccine for hepatitis B, variations in responses of patients infected with hepatitis B, familial studies of hepatitis B, host responses to human antigens and HBV, sex of offspring and fertility of infected parents, association of HBV infection with primary hepatic carcinoma, transmission of HBV by insects, hepatitis B as a polymorphism and bioethics of the hepatitis B carrier state are discussed in this review. This publication has 37 references indexed in Scilit:
