Abstract
The structure of amorphous metals may be based on a 13 atom icosahedron. The argument in favour of this model rests on the following facts:We picture the structure of amorphous metals as one in which these 13 atoms icosahedra exist as structural units or nuclei throughout the bulk but are surrounded by large areas of disordered material. Keywords
